Culev: 651 Isolation Orders and 346 Signed Self-Isolation Statements

On the territory of the whole country, a total of 651 people have been issued isolation orders, and 346 people signed statements for self-isolation. Controls were performed on persons in isolation and self-isolation, and three persons were registered not to have complied with these measures, and a total of 170 people were placed in state quarantine, announced on Tuesday Interior Minister Nakje Culev. “The police officers are at the forefront in dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic and they are continuously adapting measures to control the observance of the decisions by the Government. In that regard, the police officers have so far found a total of 20,327 offenses for not wearing personal protection, of which 618 have been in the past 24 hours,” wrote Culev on his Facebook page. He points out that in coordination with the State Market Inspectorate, during the past 24-hour period, 187 inspections have been carried out and no violations have been registered in that department.
