Pre-Election Campaign Starts Throughout Country

The pre-election campaign for the tenth parliamentary elections scheduled for 15 July has started. SDSM began their campaign from Strumica, where leader Zoran Zaev in his address stated that the government led by SDSM realized the two biggest strategic goals of the country – NATO membership and membership negotiations with the European Union, while, he said, VMRO-DPMNE stayed aside and without positions on key decisions. He said he was confident of victory at the election and would not allow anyone to blackmail him on who will sit in the prime minister’s chair. VMRO-DPMNE as per tradition started the campaign in Ohrid, where Mickoski announced changes after 15 July and said it was time for Macedonians in the country to stop feeling like second-class citizens.
