In the past 24 hours, 1,653 tests have been performed which registered 173 new cases of COVID-19 in the country. 75 of the new cases have been registered in Skopje. The total number of diagnosed patients in the country since the outbreak of the pandemic is 6,625, recovered patients are 2,748, deceased are 321 and currently in the country there are 3,556 registered active cases. For the same period, MoI reports 461 violations of the protective equipment measure. At the same time, the Health Ministry requested the Association of Journalists of Macedonia (AJM) to organize free COVID-19 screening for journalists and media workers, since they work in the field with increasing workload due to the election campaign activities.
