Government officials, their fellow party members, businessmen – this profile of people are facing criminal charges from Bojan Jovanovski who is filing them at the Skopje Prosecutor’s Office for the third day. According to a public statement he wrote eight-pages long, and presented by his lawyer, it was about 40 people who, according to Jovanovski, abused their official position by rigging tenders, participating in fraud, extortion and espionage, and even attempted murder. “The charges are related to the ‘Extortion’ and ‘International Alliance’ cases, and I have been a direct witness that the perpetrators of the crimes are public officials, ones with members of their families and their close associates involved,” Jovanovski wrote.
