MoI Issues Arrest Warrant Against Former Criminal Court President Pancevski

The Interior Ministry has issued an arrest warrant for former President of the Criminal Court in Skopje Vladimir Pancevski. Pancevski is sought by the authorities after he did not manage to secure his presence for the start of the trial against himself, in which he stands charged for abuse of the AKMIS system for distribution of cases among judges in the Criminal Court in Skopje. The start of the trial for this case was postponed several times due to the absence of Pancevski, which prompted the Criminal Court to issue a detention measure against him, but when Interior Minister officers tried to deliver this resolution to his home in Veles, they failed to find him there, which resulted in the arrest warrant issued by MoI.
