Political parties held around Macedonia over the weekend their final pre-electoral activities about the parliamentary election which is to take place on Wednesday 15 July. The pre-electoral campaign was officially concluded on Sunday at midnight, when the pre-election silence stared. SDSM and BESA held tribunes with the citizens in the Municipalities of Kisela Voda and Karpos in Skopje, as well as in Kumanovo, Tetovo, Jegunovce, Bitola, Resen and Kavadarci. At these tribunes, SDSM leader Zoran Zaev, and list carriers Oliver Spasovski, Radmila Sekerinska and Ljupco Nikolovski assured the citizens that under their rule the country is moving in the right direction, pointing out that during their mandate Macedonia has become a full-fledged NATO member and is also about to start membership talks with the EU. VMRO-DPMNE held tribunes in Delcevo, Stip and Kriva Palanka, where party leader Hristijan Mickoski and list carriers Igor Janusev and Aleksandar Nikolovski asked the citizens for their support in order, as he said, to remove from power the incapable government of SDSM that humiliated the Macedonian citizens with the decisions made for change of the constitutional name of the country and the bad economic policies. DUI and their candidate for PM Naser Ziberi held tribunes in Krusevo and Skopje, with Ziberi asking for support from all citizens for revolutionary changes in the country, starting with him becoming the first ethnic Albanian PM in Macedonia, whereas the Alliance for Albanians and Alternativa concluded their pre-electoral campaign with a tribune in Skopje, where AA leader Ziadin Sela promised the citizens better living conditions and greater rights for the Albanians in Macedonia.
