Zaev: Negotiations for New Government after Ilinden Holiday

SDSM leader Zoran Zaev announced on Friday that he will go on summer vacation and that he shall proceed with the negotiations for formation of new government with the other party leaders after the Ilinden holiday (2 August). “Having in mind what we’ve all been through, like the COVID-19 pandemic, SDSM believes that in the following period the citizens should have a little break from politics. Henceforth, I decided to take a few days for a summer holiday, and we shall restart negotiations for formation of new government after Ilinden, and I assure everyone that all legal frameworks and deadlines will be respected for formation of new government,” Zaev said. He congratulated the citizens for the peaceful and democratic atmosphere during the election day. “The citizens sent us all a clear message about the government they want to manage their state. The concept of SDSM was massively supported by them, which means that the prosperous future of our country is secured. We proceed to do more and better,” Zaev concluded.
