123 New COVID-19 Cases and 3 Deaths in Past 24 Hours

The Health Ministry informed on Thursday that after running 1,312 COVID-19 tests in the past 24 hours, new 123 cases of COVID-19 were registered. Of the new cases, 54 are registered in Skopje, 18 in Stip, 16 in Gostivar, 6 in Struga, 5 in Kumanovo and Tetovo, 4 in Debar and Kicevo, 3 in Ohrid, 2 in Bitola and Sveti Nikole and 1 in Prilep, Krusevo, Demir Hisar and Resen. The Public Healthcare Institute reports of 74 cured patients and 3 deaths as a result of COVID-19 complications. Since the start of the epidemic in Macedonia, 9,669 COVID-19 cases were registered so far, of which 5,145 are cured, 4,097 are still active, while 445 have died. Among the new cases in the Education Minister Arber Ademi, who confirmed via his Facebook page that he has been tested positive for COVID-19 and that he shall remain in home isolation.
