COVID-19: 103 New Cases and 3 Deaths in Past 24 Hours

The Health Ministry informed that in the past 24 hours they conducted COVID-19 tests among 912 citizens, of which 103 tested positive. Of the new cases, 26 are registered in Kumanovo, 15 in Gostivar, 13 in Skopje, 7 in Prilep and Demir Hisar, 6 in Kavadarci, 5 in Stip and Vinica, 3 in Tetovo and Sveti Nikole, 2 in Ohrid, Gevgelija, Kriva Palanka, Kicevo and Delcevo and 1 in Strumica, Berovo and Negotino. The Public Healthcare Institute has registered 187 cured patients, as well as 3 COVID-19-related deaths. Since the registration of the first COVID-19 case in Macedonia at the end of February 2020, a total number of 12,840 cases were confirmed, of which 9,361 are cured, 2,932 are still active, while 547 have passed away. The Interior Ministry has fined 385 citizens for not wearing face protection gear in accordance with the COVID-19 protocols.
