Byrnes: We Expect Good Cooperation with New Government

US Ambassador to Macedonia Kate Marie Byrnes expects that cooperation between the US and the new government in Macedonia will proceed in good conditions, especially in the time when the country is about to start its integration in the EU, and when the country deals with the COVID-19 pandemic. “The partnership between US and North Macedonia is very important and very strong and we are looking forward to the cooperation with the new government that is to be formed. Let us proceed with the strong cooperation in the field of the country’s Euro-Atlantic integrations, as well as the struggle against the COVID-19 pandemic,” Byrnes said during her visit of the laboratory of the Public Healthcare Institute in Skopje, where she was joined by Health Minister Venko Filipce. The United States European Command (EUCOM) provided 500,000 dollars for the renovation of the premises of the Public Healthcare Institute Laboratory.
