VMRO-DPMNE: New Government Illegitimate and Criminal

VMRO-DPMNE state that they view the new government as a major disappointment because, according to them, it is formed with rather compromised candidates which have nothing new to offer to the people. “The new government assembled by Zoran Zaev and Ali Ahmeti is clear proof that unprofessionalism, ignorance and crime will once again be the main motifs of the ruling alliance. It is headed by Zoran Zaev, who has been given abolition twice for criminal activities, and for whom there is credible suspicion that he possesses the 8 million euros in question in the Extortion case,” said Dafina Stojanoska from VMRO-DPMNE. From SDSM they reacted with a press conference. “We would like to remind VMRO-DPMNE leader Hristijan Mickoski of his promise that he will withdraw from the top position in the party if they lose the election. Instead of trying to spread fake news and defocus the public from the strong alliance formed between SDSM and DUI, Mickoski should keep his promise,” said Bogdanka Kuzeska from SDSM. VMRO-DPMNE Spokesperson Dimce Arsovski replied that according to VMRO-DPMNE a resignation by their leader at the present time would be an act of cowardice. “Mickoski cannot withdraw now when Zaev and SDSM are literally terrorising and robbing the country. We must focus on the criminal activities of SDSM and how to prevent them,” Arsovski said.
