German Chancellor Merkel Congratulates Zaev on His Re-election as PM

German Chancellor Angela Merkel congratulated Zoran Zaev on his re-election as PM of Macedonia. “I warmly congratulate you on your re-election as Prime Minister of the Republic of North Macedonia. North Macedonia and Germany have a close partnership, bilaterally and as allies in NATO. The Federal Government fully supports the goal of bringing your country closer to the European Union. I wish you luck and success in your responsible task and I look forward to our cooperation,” Merkel says in her greetings towards Zaev.
