In the last 24 hours, 148 new COVID-19 cases have been registered, the Health Ministry said on Sunday. It was added that the same period had seen 1,224 new tests, 65 new cured patients, and three new deaths. The number of active cases in the country is 2,323. Friday and Saturday had seen 284 new COVID-19 cases, 10 new deaths, and 204 new cured patients registered. Among the new cases is a kindergarten employee from Sveti Nikole, while a nurse from Ohrid is among the new victims. In the three-day period, 1,805 persons were fined for not wearing face masks. All countries in the region are talking about opening at once the borders with an equal policy when it comes to PCR tests, according to Health Minister Venko Filipce. He adds that the idea is to open them without those tests.
