VMRO-DPMNE Leader Mickoski in Interview with Telma TV

In an interview with Telma TV, VMRO-DPMNE leader Hristijan Mickoski says that if an extraordinary congress of the party is held, he wouldn’t run for head of the party. Answering questions about the internal situation facing his party and whether he’s responsible for the election defeat, Mickoski underlines that he already submitted a proposal before the Central Committee for such a congress, but the members of that body rejected it unanimously. The VMRO-DPMNE leader considers himself to be, as he points out, the last “dam” against politicians that have deeply become part of crime and corruption. He adds that that’s why he is and will continue to be attacked from all sides. The opposition leader levelled fierce criticism at the Government, especially with the latest package of economic measures.
