Justice Minister Bojan Maricic held an online meeting with EC Enlargement Commissioner Oliver Varhelyi. At the meeting, Maricic introduced Varhelyi to all processes for implementation of reforms in the Macedonian judiciary, necessary for the Chapter 23 of the membership negotiations with the EU. Varhelyi pointed out the importance of the Chapter 23 in the entire process, and offered assistance on behalf of the EU for processes like digitisation of the judiciary in Macedonia. The interlocutors agreed that all cases of organised crime and high corruption must be resolved as soon as possible, something which will significantly improve the image of the judiciary in Macedonia.
