In an interview with the Utrinski brifing (Morning Briefing) show, PM Zoran Zaev says the EU must foster all identities in Europe, including also the Macedonian one. According to him, Macedonia has over the past period done everything in the frames of what’s allowed and will continue that path. On the other hand, VMRO-DPMNE President Hristijan Mickoski, in an interview with 24 TV, once again points out that what is needed is an expert government and, once the health conditions allow that, early elections. As he adds, that could happen simultaneously with the local elections in the spring. According to the opposition leader, Zaev lied to the citizens that there were no negotiations on the identity with Bulgaria. Mickoski also says a memorandum concerning identity issues should be adopted by Parliament.
