On Thursday, PM Zoran Zaev held a meeting with the newly-appointed Ambassador of Japan, Hironori Sawada. The diplomat congratulated Zaev on the Government’s dealing with the healthcare situation in the country, as well as on the successful steps with regards to the EU membership path and NATO integration. Japan supports North Macedonia’s EU integrations, the Government said in the press-release. Zaev thanked the Ambassador for Japan’s help in medical equipment and medications, as well as for the political support. There is positive development with regards to the Skopje-Tokyo bilateral relations. Possibilities of further advancement were ascertained, it was added in the press-release.
