First Doses of Pfizer’s Vaccine to Arrive in Macedonia in February

Macedonia will get the first doses of Pfizer’s vaccine in February. Wednesday afternoon saw a direct deal reached with the company. The amount will be known in the coming weeks. The following doses will arrive in March and April. The Health Ministry is continuing talks to secure vaccines also through negotiations with EU members and through the COVAX mechanism, from where the distribution schedule and date as far as the first amounts are concerned is expected. The Ministry also said January was expected to see the fridges to store the vaccines as well. That means the healthcare system will be fully ready for the vaccination process.
