Zaharieva: Bulgaria to Donate COVID-19 Vaccines to North Macedonia Soon

Bulgarian Deputy PM and Foreign Affairs Minister Ekaterina Zaharieva said in an interview for the Bulgarian national Television (BNT) that Bulgaria will donate COVID-19 vaccines to Macedonia very soon. “We are a little late with this cooperation due to the rules of procedure of the COVAX mechanism. The regular supply of vaccines by the EU is about to start, and we shall secure some of the vaccines for North Macedonia as soon as we get them. We really want to return bilateral relations with North Macedonia back to normal, and I believe if we eliminate emotions from the talks, we can reach agreement over many of the issues,” Zaharieva said.
