FM Osmani Pays Official Visit to Serbia

Foreign Affairs Minister Bujar Osmani paid an official visit to Serbia on Thursday. Osmani was welcomed in Belgrade by Serbian president Aleksandar Vucic, to whom he thanked for the donation of COVID-19 vaccines from the producer Pfizer to Macedonia. At the meeting, the interlocutors also discussed the bilateral relations between Macedonia and Serbia, and possibilities for their improvement. Osmani also had a meeting with his Serbian counterpart, FM Nikola Selakovic, both of them concluding that the relations between their two countries are constantly improving throughout the years. “I introduced Selakovic to our interest to return political dialogue between our countries on the same level like before the COVID-19 pandemic happened. We also discussed EU integrations and the expectations of our countries from that process. EU integration is a strategic goal of both our countries, giving us political will for implementation of reforms and transformation of our societies for the better,” Osmani said. Later Thursday, FM Osmani also held meeting with Serbian PM Ana Brnabic and Speaker of the Serbian Parliament Ivica Dacic.
