New 1,347 COVID-19 Cases and 17 Deaths in Past 24 Hours

1,347 new COVID-19 cases were registered by the Health Ministry in the past 24 hours, as well as 17 deaths, among which two women aged 23 and 24, one of the youngest people in the country to pass away due to COVID-19. In the past 24 hours, 835 new COVID-19 patients were admitted to hospitals around the country, and at the moment the number of patients hospitalised with COVID-19 at clinics is 1,427. 276 patients in Skopje are hospitalised in COVID centres opened at surgical clinics and clinics for internal diseases. 20 patients in the past 24 hours were admitted to the Kozle Children’s Hospital, while 6 children with COVID-19 were admitted to the Children’s Clinic at the Mother Teresa Clinic Centre. From the Health Ministry they inform that the situation at clinics around the country remains stable and that 270 beds are vacant for patients. So far in Macedonia, 122,227 cases of COVID-19 were registered, of which 102,652 are cured, 16,030 are still active, while 3,545 have passed away.
