After Wednesday’s meeting with President Stevo Pendarovski, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said speculations arising from the alleged non-papers about redrawing of the Western Balkans’ borders didn’t help stability. At the same time, he encouraged Skopje and Sofia to solve the bilateral dispute, adding that the Alliance represented a platform for discussion. The President believes that it’s clear that the persons behind those documents are embarrassed of what’s written themselves, considering they remain anonymous. International polls, Pendarovski added, show that North Macedonia is among the countries with the highest level of support for NATO membership.
