Zaev Denies Having Talked to Ahmeti About State Symbols

PM Zoran Zaev said on Wednesday that he and DUI leader Ali Ahmeti hadn’t talked about state symbols or, more specifically, the anthem. The same day, the PM pointed out that he made a mistake by using “the Macedonian national football team” in a tweet, which had previously seen a reaction from Greece in relation to the three memoranda. Zaev said making a mistake was sometimes normal, but added that North Macedonia was committed to the Prespa Agreement.
