According to Bulgarian President Rumen Radev, North Macedonia’s swift movement towards the EU depends only on the dialogue with his country. “It’s time for everyone to realise that the acceleration of the European perspective of our closest country depends only on the engagement and results of the dialogue with Bulgaria. It’s clear that people in the Republic of North Macedonia are brothers of ours,” Radev pointed out, adding that his country had a duty to help them, as always. Bulgaria, he stressed, remains open to swift and successful bilateral negotiations in the interest of the two countries’ citizens.
