Parliament Adopts State Budget Rebalance

The Parliament adopted on Wednesday the rebalance of the state budget proposed by the government with 56 votes in favour and 37 against. From the ruling majority they claimed that the budget rebalance will provide more money for the citizens and the business sector which have been most hit by the COVID-19 crisis, while the opposition insisted that the rebalance will only increase the public debt, and that none of the increased funds will be used for capital investments. The budget rebalance foresees increase of budget incomes to 222.6 billion denars and increase of the expenditures to 268.8 billion denars.
