Project for Monitoring of Cases over Corruption and Organised Crime Promoted

Justice Minister Bojan Maricik, EU Ambassador David Geer and Head of OSCE Mission in Skopje Clemens Koja presented on Wednesday the presentation of the project supported by OSCE and EU for monitoring over judicial processes for cases of corruption and organised crime in the country. “I believe that this project will help us increase the responsibility in the processing of cases of this type, but ultimately our purpose is to increase the trust of the citizens in the judicial system. We are the first country in the region to immediately start this project,” Maricik said. OSCE Mission Head Koja informed that through this project OSCE will monitor 50 cases dealing with high corruption and crime. EU Ambassador Geer said that only an efficient judicial system can earn the trust of the citizens.
