President Stevo Pendarovski held a meeting on Thursday with the commander of the Vermont National Guard, Adjutant General Gregory C. Knight. At the meeting, the interlocutors discussed the cooperation between the Army of North Macedonia (ARM) and the Vermont National Guard, concluding that the country’s membership in NATO contributes to the stability, improvement and development of the Balkan region. President Pendarovski thanked for all the assistance the US Army provides to ARM, while General Knight said that the country and its army have demonstrated professionalism on many occasions, adding that the NATO membership has been well deserved.
