SEC: 18 Independent Candidates for Mayors Finalize Signature Collection

As of 28 August 2021, at the regional departments and offices of the State Election Commission, the necessary signatures for participation in the local elections were collected by 18 candidates for mayors, and continues for another 15 candidates. According to SEC, in the same period in the offices of SEC, the required signatures were collected by 38 independent groups of voters, and for 26 the procedure continues. The SEC and offices will be open until Monday midnight, when the legal deadline for collecting signatures expires.
