Fire in COVID Centre in Tetovo: 10 Dead Confirmed

So far, ten people have been confirmed dead in the fire in the COVID Centre in Tetovo, confirmed the Ministry of Health of North Macedonia. The announcement of the Ministry states that an accident occurred in Tetovo that took several human lives. “So far, ten people have been confirmed dead in the fire, but the number may increase. This is a very sad day,” the Minister of Health, Venko Filipce said, expresses his deepest condolences to the families. It is noted that doctors are fighting for the lives of those injured in the fire. On the other hand, Prime Zoran Zaev, announced on social networks about the fire, which he described as a huge tragedy. “The explosion caused a fire. The fire was extinguished, but many lives were also extinguished. The struggle for life is still ongoing, and all the services have responded with sacrifice and rescuing people. I express my deepest condolences to the families and relatives of the deceased and wish a speedy recovery to the injured,” Zaev wrote.
