557 New COVID-19 Cases Registered, 28 Infected Pass Away

The Ministry of Health informs, according to the data from the Institute of Public Health, in the last 24 hours, 3,885 tests were performed, and 557 new cases of COVID-19 were registered. During the same period 28 deaths have been reported. The total number of COVID-19 diagnosed persons in the country since the beginning of the epidemic is 185,450 the number of recovered patients is 166,099, the number of deaths is 6,367, and the number of active cases is 12,984. The Public Health Institute issued new report on COVID-19 numbers in the country, where they informed that since the start of the pandemic, 7 pregnant women and 5 persons who have been reinfected for the second time with COVID-19, have passed away. At the same time, MoFA reports that Switzerland, Belgium and Austria have new COVID-19 regulations for entry into the countries. North Macedonia’s citizens can enter these countries with proof of administered 2 doses of COVID-19 vaccine or quarantine.
