Election Campaign Continues

At a rally in Bitola on Friday, SDSM President Zoran Zaev said the citizens should make a decision for the country to move forward instead of going back. “In the name of the successes, in the name of the strategic success and NATO entry, in the name of unification and uniting in our multi-ethnic society, in the name of increase of salaries amidst a pandemic, in the name of the growth of domestic and foreign investments, in the name of the future, I call on all citizens to support unity, unification, progress, future,” he stated. In Demir Hisar, VMRO-DPMNE President Hristijan Mickoski urged people to vote for changes on 31 October. “Zoran Zaev is saying that if he loses in these elections in Skopje and other places throughout the country, he will leave the position of PM. I am saying to you that we should help him on 31 October in order for that to happen,” the opposition leader stressed. When it comes to the ethnic Albanian bloc, DUI held a rally in Cegrane, where the leader of the party, urged the residents to mobilise and prevent a victory of VMRO-DPMNE in Gostivar.
