Greece’s Varvitsiotis Expresses Concern over Developments in North Macedonia

Greek Alternate Foreign Minister Miltiadis Varvitsiotis has expressed concerns over the developments in North Macedonia. As he said, the right implementation of the Prespa Agreement is one of the conditions in the negotiating framework. “I must admit the following: we are very concerned by the developments in North Macedonia. The return to a nationalist rhetoric by our neighbours will essentially lead us to redefining our national position to support the enlargement process. Because one of the firm preconditions set in the negotiating framework is consistent and right implementation of all provisions of the Prespa Agreement,” Varvitsiotis stressed.
