Foreign Affairs Minister Bujar Osmani said that North Macedonia needs to demonstrate solidarity in the case with Ukraine and support the country’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. “At the moment I do not thing the situation in Ukraine can escalate. NATO does not pose danger over the security in Russia. We can only call for de-escalation of the situation and overcoming of tensions, and withdrawal of the Russian troops from the border with Ukraine and halt of the cyber-threats towards all member-state of NATO,” Osmani said, adding that so far 40 citizens of North Macedonia have reported for evacuation from Ukraine in case a security threat appears.
