Defence Minister Slavjanka Petrovska and US Ambassador to North Macedonia Kate Marie Byrnes attended on Thursday the conclusion of the training programme for the Battalion of Rangers and the Battalion for Special operations at the Army of North Macedonia (ARM), conducted in cooperation with the US Naval Special Forces, at the Ilinden Miliary Headquarters in Skopje “We witnessed another excellent exercise, which once again clearly demonstrated that united we are stronger, which is why as NATO allies, we continue our cooperation, and we proceed to make efforts for protecting the territorial integrity of each and every country,” Ambassador Byrnes said, in spirit of the recent events in Ukraine. DM Petrovska condemned the Russian military invasion over Ukraine, and joined the appeals of NATO for ceasefire in Ukraine and for Moscow and Kiev to find a solution to their conflicts via dialogue.
