Introductory Words “Software” Case, Raskovski Denies Guilt

After two delays due to the absence of a prosecutor, the head of the Prosecutor’s Office for Organized Crime and Corruption, Vilma Ruskovska came to court to personally represent the indictment against the former Secretary General of the Government, Dragi Raskovski, and the trial finally began. In introductory words, Ruskovska said she would convince the court that Raskovski had abused his position for personal enrichment and was irrationally spending citizens’ money. “I understand the accusation semantically, but I do not understand it as a legal act. Absolutely no guilt. Let’s do a reconstruction to see if the software works. It is very difficult to find a black cat in a dark room. It is even harder to find it if it is not there. During this trial we will prove that a black cat does not exist,” Raskovski said.
