VMRO-DPMNE Blockade of Parliament Continues

The session of Parliament through which VMRO-DPMNE has demanded early elections has continued. Wednesday saw shouting, banners, and accusations of national treason. There was no substantial debate on laws because opposition MPs demanded changes to the agenda that the ruling structure rejected. VMRO-DPMNE MP and Vice President Vlado Misajlovski stated that the blockade of “harmful laws” would continue because the ruling majority had rejected the arm extended by his party. SDSM, on the other hand, stated VMRO-DPMNE’s non-work cost taxpayers 55,000 euros a month. The ruling party once again called for parliamentarians from Mickoski’s party to give back the money received by them in commuting costs.
