PM Kovacevski Meets Italian Counterpart Draghi in Rome

In the frames of his visit to Rome, PM Dimitar Kovacevski held a meeting with the President of the Italian Council of Ministers, Mario Draghi. At the meeting with his counterpart, Kovacevski stated that Skopje and Rome fostered exceptionally close political and economic relations founded on intensive dialogue and frequent meetings at the highest institutional level. Also, he underlined Italy’s role as a vocal promoter of EU enlargement with the Western Balkans. Enlargement should be considered from a geopolitical standpoint, as a security issue key to the stability and prosperity for our region and Europe, Kovacevski and Draghi agreed, North Macedonia’s Government said in the press-release.
