Pendarovski: Chances of Skopje Getting Date in June Below 50%

According to President Stevo Pendarovski, the chances of North Macedonia getting a date for negotiations in June are less than 50%. In an interview with Euronews Bulgaria, the President says that the negotiations are more complex than before. According to Pendarovski, over the past years, Bulgaria has unexpectedly presented demands related to history, the ethnic origin, which it has tabled, to everyone’s surprise. “We consider that we have all arguments. Because we want to talk about true arguments and criteria, which we have met to join the EU. Not talk about the 19^th century, about the 10^th century, who the first ones are that came to the Balkan Peninsula,” the President points out in the interview.
