Pendarovski Presents MKD2030 Development Framework

Halted European integrations, politicised institutions, political crises, modest economic growth, corruption, and grey economy. These are part of the problems noted by President Stevo Pendarovski. On Thursday, he promoted the MKD2030 Development Framework, with strategies to solve the key problems by the end of the decade. According to the framework, the priority areas in which the country should invest are accelerated economic growth, greater protection of the environment and a reformed energy policy, digitalisation and education, and youth. Among the proposals in terms of how to improve those spheres are creating new jobs, encouraging new investments, providing quality air throughout the whole country, an effective waste management system, full digitalisation of public services, modern education, and strategies to reduce poverty. The Framework says that in the designated priority areas, the state should invest regardless of political changes in terms who’s in power.
