VMRO-DPMNE Will Not Accept Constitutional Changes

VMRO-DPMNE will not accept a change in the Constitution in order to realize the Bulgarian demands to the detriment of the national interests of North Macedonia – this was promised to the citizens by the leader of the opposition party Hristijan Mickoski. At the protest under the slogan “Too much!”, he called on Prime Minister Kovacevski to reject the French offer to resolve the dispute, which he said was a diplomatic knockout for the country. Instead of Europeanization, with it the country will get assimilation and Bulgarianization in installments, said Mickoski. “To be clear, 80 MPs, two thirds are required for changing the constitution. It depends on VMRO-DPMNE and while I am president, the constitution will not be changed so that the Bulgarian demands are part of it,” he said.
