No New Restrictive Measures Against COVID-19

The Infectious Diseases Committee held a meeting on Thursday over the recent increase of the number of new COVID-19 cases, but decided to not introduce new measures and restrictions at the moment. Spokesperson of the Committee Zlate Mehmedovic informed that they health authorities decided to open COVID departments in 5 polyclinics in Skopje at which citizens will be able to make COVID-19 tests, and reminded the citizens that the wearing of face protection is still mandatory in public transport, hospitals, pharmacies and retirement homes. Mehmedovic also informed that the situation with COVID-19 patients at clinics at the moment is stable, and that there are many free beds in the infectiology departments.
