PS Xhaferi Does Not Dispute That He Knows New BPPO POCC Head Abazi

Parliament Speaker Talat Xhaferi, answering a journalist’s question, said that it would be incorrect to say that he does not know Abazi, who before becoming the head of BPPO POCC was the head of the Higher Public Prosecutor’s Office – Gostivar. This comes as Islam Abazi denies involvement in the DUI. Xhaferi is the third DUI official who has acquaintances with Abazi. Earlier, photos of Abazi with officials surfaced in the public. “First and foremost, I am the President of the Parliament and an MP. As a Parliament, we are a special government, they are a special government. We are a small country. If we start on whether we know each other or not, it will be incorrect to say that we do not know the man who was with us in the High Prosecutor’s Office in the city of Gostivar. So, in that context, it is not disputed whether we know each other or not, they are a special authority within the judicial authority as a special body, the Prosecutor’s Office,” said Xhaferi. According to him, it is not in dispute whether Abazi knows and has communications with DUI officials.
