Anti-Corruption Commission Announces Plans for Next Year

Assets of judges, public prosecutors, ministers and MPs will be subject to random checks by the State Commission for Prevention of Corruption. Strengthened fight against corruption is high on the agenda of the Commission’s members for 2023, especially in the judiciary, as well as with regards to the legislative and executive power. It will be easier for the Commission to determine whether some official is hiding assets through the software that will directly connect the Commission to institutions that have such data. However, the electronic solution is expected next year. The priority for institutions, according to the Commission, should also be the law on origin of assets.
