Mickoski Reiterates Party’s Stand on Constitutional Changes Issue

According to VMRO-DPMNE President Hristijan Mickoski, the constitutional changes represent treason, not unification. “Someone should have thought about that before making deals,” he said on Saturday. VMRO-DPMNE’s stand remains unchanged, that is, the party believes early parliamentary elections are needed in order to enable citizens to clearly voice a stand on the constitutional changes issue. “The Macedonian people is wise. If you take a look at all polls, you will see that a huge majority, more than three-quarters, oppose that,” Mickoski noted. In response, SDSM said again the elections would be held in 2024.
