Relations with Sofia Key Topic at Session for Parliamentary Questions

The session for parliamentary questions, held on Thursday, expectedly focused on the relations with Bulgaria. PM Dimitar Kovacevski didn’t give a concrete answer to VMRO-DPMNE MP Antonijo Milososki’s question about whether the Government had debated the recommendation for banning entry to North Macedonia for some persons from Bulgaria on 4 February, when the 151st anniversary of revolutionary Goce Delcev’s birth will be marked. Kovacevski cited the classified information. However, the PM stated that the Interior Ministry had the authorisation to act according to the services’ information. He believes the event will be held in a dignified and peaceful manner. Regarding Foreign Minister Bujar Osmani, Milososki said he had double standards with regards to rights of Macedonians in Bulgaria.
