VMRO-DPMNE and SDSM Continue to Trade Accusations over Corridors Case

VMRO-DPMNE has continued to urge the Government to make public the deal concerning the Corridors. “There can’t be secret clauses when it’s about many millions in taxpayer money. Hiding the deal can only one thing. The Grubi-Kovacevski criminal duo has harmed the country and its citizens,” the opposition party notes. According to VMRO-DPMNE, the PM and the First Deputy PM would have made the deal public by now if there wasnt anything controversial and criminal. “Instead of looking after the interest of Macedonia and its citizens, they have accepted all positions of a private company and that way protected its interest,” Hristijan Mickoski’s party stated. In response, SDSM once again said VMRO-DPMNE was openly opposing the biggest investment in the country’s history. “Scandalously and irresponsibly, VMRO-DPMNE, the party that’s being held hostage by the pro-Russian Levica, is spreading lies and accusing the US and Bechtel of corruption,” Dimitar Kovacevski’s party said.
