Accusations between VMRO-DPMNE and SDSM over Corridors Continue

VMRO-DPMNE Vice-President Aleksandar Nikoloski has posted on social media two documents that are allegedly part of the Government’s deal with Bechtel and ENKA. He says he was given the documents by whistle-blowers. According to Plan 11 of the alleged deal, in 2023, 489 and 222 foreign and domestic workers, respectively, will be hired. Nikoloski says that PM Dimitar Kovacevski and First Deputy PM Artan Grubi are lying. “70% of money of Macedonian taxpayers for building the motorway will go outside the country,” the VMRO-DPMNE President stresses. SDSM once again says VMRO-DPMNE is telling lies about the strategic project. According to Deputy PM for Economic Affairs Bytyqi, everything paid for with public funds will be made public, but the parts concerning the company’s technical-technological process have to remain confidential.
