1. Pendarovski Hopes Constitutional Changes Will Be Done by November

President Stevo Pendarovski voiced hope that the constitutional changes will be adopted by
November this year. “The government is expected to adopt the initiative for constitutional
changes over the following two weeks. There are some minimum steps of progress after the
meeting between the leaders of the government and the opposition, but they still cannot reach
compromise over this matter. I only hope that we are not brought in a situation in which we
will block our own integration in the EU,” Pendarovski said. In the meantime, Parliament
Speaker Talat Xhaferi said that the Parliament is ready to act in accordance with all rules of
procedure, once the government forwards the initiative for constitutional changes to them.
