In the period leading up to the marking of the 120 th anniversary of the Ilinden Uprising, the ruling party is announcing a resolution on Ilinden in Parliament. SDSM said on Tuesday that the proposal would be in front of MPs on Tuesday. Two days prior, a declaration had been read on the occasion of the holiday. Such a verbal statement or declaration is allowed according to the rules of procedure, which provides for every parliamentary group to have before the start of the session an address.
The declaration is not a document in writing adopted by Parliament and produces no legal effect.
