The remaining 67 North Macedonia nationals who requested assistance for evacuation from Israel arrived in Skopje on Friday, Foreign Minister Bujar Osmani said that day. Seven Albanian, three Bulgarian, and seven Montenegrin nationals were on the Air Serbia plane too.

The costs for the flight will be covered by North Macedonia’s Budget. When it comes to the married couple located in Gaza, that is, in Khan Younis, North Macedonia’s Embassies in Cairo and Tel Aviv are in constant communication with Egyptian and Israeli institutions to evacuate them.

As the Foreign Ministry said on Sunday, the two nationals are at a safe location, that is, at a hospital of the Red Crescent.
